My daughter Megan passed her test in Sidcup last week after taking lessons with Dave, who had been brilliant throughout.
It took her a while to get there, due to Covid and lockdown, when first her theory and then her practical tests were cancelled and rescheduled numerous times, but Dave was constant throughout, with his friendly expertise and encouragement.
I know she has really enjoyed her lessons with Dave (and not only because she got to drive his brand new blue Cooper Mini) and as much as she is so happy to have passed, she’s going to really miss seeing him every week, he’d become a good friend to her.

Dave is really kind, patient and dedicates the time to make sure you succeed. Unlike other driving schools, Dave makes sure to prioritise you when lessons are needed and insures you are confident going into the test so there is no doubt you have the ability to pass. Dave was a brilliant instructor! I was confident in the car soon after starting to drive as he is such a lovely person, I was always comfortable to be driving in his car and he kept me calm in all situations. He was an amazing instructor and I would recommend him to anyone as he is so patient and always willing to help me. Never has Dave ever been angry or been upset at me when I made a mistake he always stayed calm and helped me to learn from them.

I don’t know where to start, Dave has been absolutely amazing and I am lucky to have had him as a driving instructor! Like many others I was very nervous for my first driving lesson but once I had met Dave I immediately felt comfortable and my confidence grew and grew each lesson. Thanks to Dave I looked forward to each and every single one of my driving lessons and he believed in me every step of the way. Dave’s constant patience and calming attitude would make me feel happy after and during every lesson of mine. Dave is the best driving instructor! Not only is he a driving instructor but he’s a friend. I could never imagine Dave getting angry or even the slightest bit angry with any mistakes while learning to drive. He’s a kind nurturing man who is an amazing teacher. He will fill you with confidence and make you feel so comfortable at what can be a very nerve racking time in someone’s life. Even in the scariest situations he would make me feel completely calm and at ease. He’s always up for a laugh and never ever serious, which is what I loved about learning to drive with him. I highly recommend Dave as a driving instructor I don’t think I would of got through my test if it wasn’t for him!
He didn’t make driving lessons feel like lessons at all. It felt like just going on a drive with a friend and having fun!

Where do I even start! I’ve been learning to drive with Dave for over 2 years now due to covid and having many tests cancelled. He has stuck by me all this time, he is such an amazing person. Learning to drive was such a good experience with Dave, I felt so comfortable and could always trust him! Dave was always calm, patient and so thoughtful. I always looked forward to my lessons, he made it so easy and could always calm my nerves. After failing my test the first time, Dave helped me find a cancellation and made sure I had loads of lessons booked in leading up to my second test, I passed with no minors, all thanks to Dave! He did everything he could to make sure I left that test with a blue certificate, I will definitely miss him but know we will keep in touch! I would highly recommend Dave he makes everything extremely easy and enjoyable.
I had a great time learning to drive with him. He has a very high pass rate which puts you at great ease and comfort knowing you are in such good hands.
He was also extremely accommodating when I got a cancellation and had to swap everybody, he had booked in so I could take my test in his car.

I am so lucky to have had Dave teaching me to drive, I really can’t fault anything in his ways of teaching. He remains calm and patient at all times and ensures you learn something new in every single lesson. I have been doing driving lesson with Dave for some time now due to covid putting everything on hold.
And I have not got a bad word to say, he has been so lovely to me, and my mum who dealt with booking my lessons in early on. I felt relaxed and comfortable within seconds of my first lesson and Dave has done nothing but build my confidence and show me that I can do it, which always helps when the pre test doubts kick in ! I Started my driving lessons with Dave 2 years ago, struggling with the circumstances of covid
I had 4 tests cancelled on me, but Dave stuck by me, he even stayed on the phone to the DVSA for nearly 3 hours trying to get me a new test. He is such a kind, patient and thoughtful person who sees the good in everybody and I wouldn’t have ever passed without him. If you need driving lessons I would 100% recommend him. I will always be grateful for the help and encouragement Dave provided me to get me my blue certificate. I have definitely also made a friend for life.

So where do I start, I’m probably Dave’s oldest EVER student and we laughed a lot!
On a serious note Dave has been exceptional.
